An Experiential Event To Promote Female Drumming And Musical Careers

Hit Like A Girl

Event to take place in Los Angeles February 6, 2016 with live streaming worldwide

The organizers of the Hit Like A Girl international contest for female drummers recently announced that the first annual Hit Like A Girl Drum Festival is scheduled to take place at Swing House Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Offering educational activities and performances by some of today’s top drum artists, as well as past participants and School of Rock bands, the event is free and open to the public. In addition, the Festival’s grand finale concert, featuring all three drummers (and more), will be streamed live and cost-free to a worldwide audience on DrumChannel.com and on sites of the Enter Music Network.

Top tier Hit Like A Girl sponsors will present drum clinics and product demonstrations in three main studio rooms throughout the day while additional sponsors will display products and distribute literature at tables in the entry hall. Participants will have the chance to meet artists and company reps in person, see performances and learn about education, careers and the business of music.
