DVD and Download Features Performance and Class Footage from Eight Top Drummers
Hudson Music and Modern Drummer magazine have announced the release of Modern Drummer Festival™ 2010. The video is now available at leading drum shops, music stores, and online retailers worldwide.
Filmed in full HD with six cameras and multi-track audio, the product combines performance and master class footage from the May 22, 2010, Modern Drummer Festival™. The festival took place at the Memorial Auditorium at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.
Featured performers include Chris Pennie (Coheed & Cambria, Dillinger Escape Plan), Shannon Forrest (Faith Hill, Brooks & Dunn), Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live Band, Brecker Bros.) and his band House of Diablo, Adam Deitch (John Scofield, Lettuce), Benny Greb (Strom and Wasser, Stoppok), and Stanton Moore (Galactic, Irma Thomas) and his trio.
Daniel Glass (Royal Crown Revue) and Chris Coleman (Prince) presented master classes at the festival. Footage of these classes is included, along with a printable PDF eBook containing transcriptions of select performances and other educational information.
