Sabian APX Guillotine

In support of the new SABIAN APX series of high-decibel cymbals that are designed to cut through hard rock and heavy metal music, a menacing APX guillotine has hit the road for an international tour.  Towering over 12-feet tall, the guillotine features an APX cymbal as its blade.  Since making its debut at the NAMM show in January, Guitar Center in Hollywood has been the home of the APX guillotine.  The guillotine tour continues with stops at Guitar Center in West Los Angeles and Musikmesse Frankfurt in March; Guitar Center in Las Vegas in April; Summer NAMM in Nashville, Tenn. in June; and the United Kingdom in July.  The attached photo, taken at Guitar Center in Hollywood, shows Bob Rupp, SABIAN key account manager at right, and Jack Mayer, SABIAN player.
