Aquarian Cymbal Spring Heavy

Especially if you like to play with your cymbal clamped down, this spring allows the cymbal to move, avoiding unnecessary torque and damage. Slip over the threaded portion of your cymbal stand tilter top and tighten in place with a pressure screw.

Aquarian Cymbal Spring Medium

Especially if you like to play with your cymbal clamped down, this spring allows the cymbal to move, avoiding unnecessary torque and damage. Slip over the threaded portion of your cymbal stand tilter top and tighten in place with a pressure screw.

The purpose of the Aquarian Cymbal Spring is to allow your cymbal to freely vibrate after being struck. Mounting the cymbal on a conventional stand can contribute to cymbal breakage IF you tighten the felts on the cymbal too much, not to mention inhibiting the sound.

Using an Aquarian Cymbal Springs allows the cymbal to move more freely after each hit, giving the potential for greater resonance and less chance of breakage.

As you can see, there are two different weights of springs to choose from; Medium and Heavy. Personally, I don't like the way my Crash cymbals feel when using them with the Medium weight cymbal spring, however many people love it! The only cymbal spring I use is the Heavy Cymbal Spring ... and that only on my Wuhan China Cymbal. Using the cymbal spring on my China has kept me from breaking the cymbal for over 2 decades!

I highly recommend this product!
