Thomas W. Roady, born on April 17, 1949 in Alton, Illinois, was an American percussionist and drummer.

Besides giving numerous percussion clinics and master classes, Tom Roady performed and/or recorded with the likes of Phil Driscoll, Paul Anka and The Fifth Dimension, John Denver, James Taylor, Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge, James Brown, Bobby Womack, Etta James, Mavis Staples, Michael McDonald, Pure Prairie League, The Sanford Townsend Band, Delbert McClinton, Tom Jones, Donovan, Roy Orbison, Dr. Hook, Tony Orlando, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many others.

In 1996, Tom recorded a solo CD, Zendrum: One Tribe. Over the years, Tom's music has been heard on the Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel, Animal Planet, Oxygen, Playboy and many other cable TV outlets.

In 2010, Tom joined We the People Folk Group.

A world renowned percussionist and fixture of the Nashville music scene, Tom passed away on November 28, 2011 while on tour with Ricky Skaggs.
