John Wolters, born John Christian Wolters on April 28, 1945 in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, was an American rock drummer best known for his work with Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show (1973-1985), playing on all of their hits — which included 7 Top-10's and 6 Gold records.
Wolters died of cancer on June 16, 1997 at the age of 52.
Serving drummers and percussionists since 1996.
