Well... not an easy question... As I listen to more than 10 differents cds a day...

But I would answer the following:
Evanescence - Fallen (kind of melodic metal rock)
Tiamat - Wildhoney (rock, such as Pink Floyd !)

And all the old reggae stuff I can find (The Congos, The Skatalites, Jazz Jamaica, Burning Spears, Israël Vibration, Mighty Diamonds, The Wailers, and some more !)

Jane's Addiction - Strays They're back! Pretty good album overall. Stephen Perkins is doing a very good job on the kit, as always.

Kiss - Symphony Alive IV Well... very interesting. It's refreshing to hear those songs performed with a symphonic ensemble/orchestra. Peter Criss is behind the kit, he sounds ok but his drumming is not as energic  as it was 25-30 years ago.

Queensrÿche - Empire (Remastered) What a great album!!! Great drumming, great songs, great sound. Scott Rockenfeld did a very good job and it must have been a blast creating and playing those drum parts. I saw them in Montreal when they did the Empire Tour after the album came out and it was a great show.

Lately I've been listening to:

Judas Priest - Jugulator (nice, total turnaround from their old selves, but great nonetheless; Scott Travis is a MONSTER)

Iron Maiden - Brave New World (not their best but still good, there's some specific songs I really dig)

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell (tremendous record, this guys are Rockn Roll)

Slayer - Decade Of Aggression (truly raw, very little polishing, they get wilder live)

The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower - Just found out about these guys - totally blown away. Punky indie-rocky-jazzy wierdness with horns. Totally awesome. Unbelievably catchy for being so crazy.

The Mars Volta - I'll assume you heard about this. Great new album.

Hot Water Music - These guys have so many CDs, I keep finding new and better ones. Currently spinning "No Division."

Jets To Brazil - Perfection Lonliness is a great album, and have struggled to pull it from my CD player lately. I love the cheesy piano rock these guys are experimenting with - it's a great new sound for Blake.

Jawbreaker - Jawbreaker! Can't go wrong!!

The Replacements - How can you go wrong with the 'Mats? I prefer the live stuff, this week it's "@$%#, Shower, and Shave," alternating weeks with "Tim" or "Let It Be."

Thats it for now.

was hoping alot from this guy, and his first few cuts sound pretty dam exhilirating, but the last few songs sorta fall into soul rehash, and his great voice is waaaaaaaay too compressed.  still, amazing new talent from Clive "I discovered Whitney, Bruce, Santana" Davis.

Again, another eclectic weekend of musical listening for me.  I listened to some Pantera, some Phish, a lot of Miles Davis and some Alien Ant Farm.

Joe's Garage - Frank Zappa

"The poodle bites ( come on frenchie), the poodle chews it ( snap it)"

"Is that a real poncho or a SEARS poncho?"

" Can I interest you in a pair of Zircon encrusted tweezers?"

Love it!
