I usually just keep a box of tissues in my van.

If you wear glasses and they are falling off your nose while playing you can take duct tape *I prefers gaffers* and adhere the backs of the "arm" to the skin behind your ears.  It works great.  Keep your hair out of the tape, but it really doesn't matter that much.  Once you start perspiring the tape loosens up but still has a decent bond.  Then you just peel it off at the end of the set/night.  I usually replace mine 2x.  Works like a charm.

I use a couple of stick bags and cymbal bags.  One stick bag with a selection of lighter sticks, brushes, rods, etc. for jazz gigs, trio work, small rooms; another with heavier sticks for more general playing in larger rooms, with louder bands.

Same deal with cymbals: a lighter "jazz" assortment in one bag, and a bigger selection in the other.  That way I just haul around what I'm likely to use that night without a lot of excess.

And those Lands End canvas duffle bags are great for cowbells, tambourines, cables, towels, yadah, yadah, yadah. . .
