Ok, I posted about having issue with mounting my Pacific tom arms in the Pearl clamps that came with the DR-08 rack I bought. So it was suggested I find some PCX100 clamps. No problem, got a great deal on 2 from Geartree.com. Now the problem is the newer Pearl racks are 1.5 inch square tube compared to my older rack that is 1 3/4 x 1 5/8 inch rectangular. Guess what, the clamps don't fit!!!!!!!!! So beware if you have an older rack. Now I'm on the hunt for a couple of PC-10 clamps which, even if the frame doesn't fit my rack tube can be remounted to my clamp frames. UHHHH! Live and learn.

Well, a trip to Guitar Center and problem solved for $40 bucks. Time to take off early and go home to set up the kit. WooHoo.
