"Our old band was called "Spontaneous Combustion", we've stopped playing for a while, but if we start playing again, we'll probably use the same name".

There was a funk band in Lexington Ky. with this same name in the early 80's.  Were you the same band????

Couldn't use Lawless in my neck of the woods, we already have one by that name.  Started by a friend of mine 9 john Lawless), funny part is he left the band after a very short time on pretty nasty terms.. and now 4 years later  they still use his name !

Ours is "Saucy Jack", it's a spinal tap/jack-the-ripper reference.  I've recently seen about 10 different bands with the same name across the U.S. online.  We're not leaving Cleveland, Ohio though - so I think we're safe.

Sometimes it gets mistaken for Sausage Act.  Bummer.
