I was just wondering, I'm going to LA in July on holiday, and would like to visit Buddy Rich's resting place.
But er...
We don't know how to get there  :-[
Can someone give us some directions please?  :)

I'm not a particularly slow player, yet I don't play fast.  I play half-fast.

hes buried in LA?! Im going to visit his grave this weekend.

Actually, it would appear that he's entombed, given that he's in the mausoleum, but yes, his remains are nearby nonetheless.

Great stuff, but can you tell me which roads to travel along? We are coming in from Anaheim, so directions from that road (no idea what its called, my dads driving) would be great, thanks!

This will get you going better than anything out there.
The techniques, though they play an important role in the early stage, should not be too restrictive, complex or mechanical. If we cling to them, we will become bound by their limitation.  Any technique, however worthy and desirable, becomes a disease when the mind is obsessed with it.

you know, i love mapquest, too -- but we went to dc this past weekend and mq's directions were insanely complex. i ended up going on instinct and just stayed on 95. got there fine.

apollo, check mapquest, but get yourself a map of the area, too. sometimes it's just easier to do things the old-fashioned way.
