Fist stop on our Florida "tour". If a tour is anything with more than 1 gig in a row outside of ones' home state, then we were on tour. Either way, we all had a blast and I think we beat our record for crowd size on both occasions... ;)

Shut up and play.

Me and my band...this was a new line up so good to iron out the cobwebs -

And this is me getting some practice in.  (I have to play with pads, crap pads as they're worn out, so as to not annoy the neighbours)

A couple of tracks from Lucky Lew's latest album Beauty In Aggression. Recorded in 2010 at RadioStar Studios in California, produced by Sylvia Massy and released on our own label in September 2010.

Our ballad track, No. 3 (set to some studio clips from the album sessions and live clips from our hometown release concert):

And here's the album opener, Little Heart, a more rocking track:

Nice playing guys!

I like that 4 string acoustic electric bass guitar in Simon's video.

I like those Lucky Lew tunes a lot!

This is the song Negative Zero that my band wrote in 2010. We recorded it and two others (Echoplasm and Infernal Goodbye), and was going to release it as a physical E.P., but real life has pulled us all in different directions. We're going back into the studio in a week and in celebration, we've upped and released the entire thing (including instrumental tracks, which I'm a sucker for,) as a free digital download.

You can listen to the entire E.P. and even download it at  http://www.soundcloud.com/warehouse86]SoundCloud

The audio is a tad lame on this, but here's a little selection from The Bottle Band, a musical comedy group I perform with - the ever popular Cowboy Medley. My son, Ben, is playing the other snare...

Here is a link of me playing a show a few years back. With my old band Another Anthem.
My stick did break during the intro, so just ignore that   ;D.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Brandon
I don't think any arranger should ever write a drum part for a drummer because if a drummer can't create his own Interpretation of the chart and he plays everything that's written, he becomes mechanical; he has no freedom.

Most of my Youtube material is rudimental in nature and almost all clips are original combinations that I have written as I practice everyday. There are a few clips deeper in the channel of when I played professionally at a music theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Anyway. Great to see another forum like this one where drummers can share and learn: Youtube: drummermrj

Personally, I liked #4 best. You're solo had more taste and wasn't quite as busy.
