Nice grooving Tim.  Drivin the bus nicely.  Sounds like fun music to play too

Tim van de Ven

Thanks for the kudos, gents.  ;D

The music is a blast to play; swinging, grooving and never dull.
Amanda is the real deal.

Haven't been around for a whille.

First, I've got my 2 minutes of YouTube exposure courtesy of the sound person at our monthly gig.  I'm the white haired/bearded guy behind the drums  ;)

And . . .

Milton Bullock, our bass player from 1980 - 1999 passed away on July 6th.  It hurts very badly to lose a band mate and a friend.

This is my favorite song we did as "The Catch" back in 1996.

To my friend, Milton.

Bob, I really loved the song and you all sound great. There was some break up in the video but it maybe my 5 year old computer?

I was in my studio this morning working on some  "Hillsong" music. It is a song called the "Desert Song". Anyway, I am experimenting with a new camera. Thought I would share my practice time with you. You can see everything I am doing so I guess I can take some hits. Anyway, I love this groove.

Togar and the Hall Monitors (hey that's a good name for a band) took care of them for us.............. it's safer that way.

My kids Grandmother past away yesterday. She was my mother in-law for 21 years. Anyway, I felt like beating on something today so here goes. Sorry I dropped the stick. "Big Bad Moon" By Joe Satriani. Not perfect, just practice.

While looking through the footage on the video camera I found these little snippets from 2007.  The band is my old wedding band.  I was with them over 18 years (8 pieces with horns).  We broke up in 2004 but got together again in 2007 to play this outdoor picnic gig.

No rehearsal, we just called stuff out of the Real Book or played material from our old library.  It was nice to play with those guys (and gal) again.  We had a good run, averaging 35 weekends a year for 18 years.

Anyhoo - there are just a couple of pieces of songs here, so I stuck them up on YouTube.   T

UPDATE: Added clip of Orange Colored Sky.

In any event, this post oughta destroy whatever credibility I might have had here.  :)

This one is L.O.V.E.

This one is the ending of Jump, Jive and Wail.  I don't know where the rest of the tune is.
