Yes, that was one of my many voices of Funkdom!  It seems that each time there is a solo I am in the hospital or unable to play.  I may have to try a one-armed solo just for giggles and grins.

Come on Louis,
I'm sure we'll like to have you as part of the community solo....

Here is the list of the peaple that are in so far:
Bart
Gaetano_Nicolosi
Felix
Gaddabout
Shoeless
Drum4JC
Drummermom
Sleepybrighteye
MUSIKxDRUMR

Anybody else? I am sure there are more that they are thinking about!  ??? What about Mr. A?

Felix I knew you were ready for this!  ;D
Lawless are you in? I hope so....

Bart, do you have an idea already for the Loop that we are going to use at this time?

I will try it too. I have a friend bringing me his MP3 Recorder for a day.
Let us know when the rhythm track is ready to burn?

Just make the loop longer then. The last one was what?--just under 4 mins? So run it to 6 mins (or longer ;D) and let everyone have a shot. The #2 was amazing!! Great fun to hear everyone's different playing styles, yet meshed together in one song.

Actually, the loop was much shorter than that in it's original form. Each person records their part, within a limited time frame, and then it is put together with the loop repeating as long as necessary depending on who all participates and how long it is needed. If enough people get involved, it could be 20 or 30 minutes or more. There is no limit since the loop just repeats.

I think I might even be able to use my kit this year too  ::) The sonor delites sound very very good these days if I do say so myselfski:

I have been working on some solo stuff recently.  Some of it is actually kinda cool sounding.

James, I got the Tempus snare.  Sounds pretty different from what I'm used to.  Maybe I shall record with it  :-\

Might be a bigger turnout this year? Gotta coax Mr. A in here to kick butt and take names, he's a real sandbagger guys.  8)  Maybe have him light up that cocktail kit!  C'mon Mr. A.

Nice kit Felix.  Keep after him Felix.  It was nice listening to the solo again.
Just doesn't seem right without the forums Moderator involved.
  C'mon Mr. A.

I'll have to wait to hear the loop first, so I can decide whether I'll be able to contribute something worthwhile.

Cool.  PM me after you live with it for a little bit.  :)

Count me in!!

Good to see you back on the board, Gaetano!
Geting any sleep lately?

Good Larry, I'm glad to hear that you are in..........
Yes, I'm back... I was always checking the drummer cafe in the last few months, but I have been busy recording a couple of project and not have much time to post anything really....
Getting sleep? No much at all, barely enough to survive!  :(
But it's ok, because as soon my son is maybe (MAYBE) ready to play drums, I can retired and get all the sleep I want!  ;D

Back to the topic, I am glad to see many drummer cafe members involved on this... This is going to be the best community solo!

Hannah, I believe there is room for everyone to partecipate...
We maybe have to consider to play something like 16 measure of solo for each member, in order to give the opportunity to everyone... But that is my opinion.... Bart will give us some details soon.....

Felix that is a sweet drumset!  ;)

I would be up for it again and this time I will practice.
You don't practice one day no one notices, you don't practice two days you notice, you don't practice three days everyone notices.
