Cool Drum

Took the kiddos to the Air Force museum today, and the AF Band of Flight had their gear set up for a show tonight. They had this drum up there that I had to take a picture of, though my cell phone picture doesn't do it justice. There were two of these drums but the other one had its artwork facing front. You can see by the snare next to it just how deep it is. And the drum and the artwork were just gorgous. The heads seemed to get their tension from the ropes. I'm guessing this is called field drum?

Anyway makes me want to return to the event tonight just to hear the things.
