Check it out guys and gals.  It is a nice addition to the Drummer Cafe.
No one will believe it's the "Blues" if you wear a suit, 'less you happen to be an old person, and you slept in it last night!

Rock Moves with Zoltan will be an ongoing segment in each broadcast. We've discussed him before here at the Drummer Cafe. I'm fortunate enough to get video footage of Zoltan to use here at the Drummer Cafe; you won't find it anywhere else ... hence the exclusive.  :)

WOW!

First of all Bart, let me just say thank you and I'm very flattered that you included my EPK in your first segment.  Sometimes thank you doesn't even seem like enough.

DC TV!! What an awesome idea! Once again another example of why the DC is just an amazing source for information and education.

Incredible!!!

Well ... you're showing your age my friend ... but it's okay.  :P

Zoltan is fun, hilarious to watch ... and in my opinion, one of the best examples of showmanship while drumming.

As far as the TV broadcast, hopefully there's something for everyone ... hopefully.

I enjoy watching Zoltan.  Music should be fun.  You can tell there is fun onstage when you watch the clip.

He should be at the end, like on a normal news programme..... "And on a lighter note...."

No, I don't really mind.
I was impressed with Cafe TV.
Quality stuff.
And it worked quite well, which is unusual given my lousy service provider.

Loved it. I think I'm going to  have to buy and learn every instrument Alex Acuna played in that clip.

(Must remember that name, amazing!)

I loved watching Alex A. play. Cool to see a clip of the different instruments.
Bart, are you doing the editing for these? I done some video editing and its time consuming. How are you finding the time?
So much to do, so little mind.

I'm doing the recording, editing and rendering on all the videos I create ... and yes, editing and rendering everything else. It is time consuming, but once the edits are done, the rendering is just the computer crunching away.

I usually render the videos at night while I'm sleeping, or if during the day I'll go practice or do something else. I've incorporated a second computer to do some of the work when I need to use my primary computer. Video is such a memory hog!

As far as finding time, I don't know how, I just do. It's a one man show ... so new content is slow to be added. This could easily be a full time job, but that would mean someone would have to start paying me a salary.  ;D

Glad you are digging the Drummer Cafe TV.

Just an FYI, I'd like to get feedback from everyone, positive/negative, with respect to the direction I'm going and the content. If you don't want to post something here, just send me an email or IM.

I've had a few suggestions on specific interviews you'd like to see, which I am working towards. There's an enormous pool of drummers and percussionists here in Nashville, so that will work to my advantage.  ;D

I'm trying to put some humor in there as well, at least what I think is humorous. I've already learned that some don't like the Zoltan segment, which is fine since not everyone is going to like everything. I do want to try to have something for everyone, which is tough to do on a weekly basis.

Anyway ... I do want feedback.  8)

It has been really busy at work but I promise I will watch the latest tonight and let you know what I think.

The segment on the 11 o'clock HH was fantastic! It was clear, concise, coherent and concrete.

In terms of feedback I'd love to see more demonstrations/discussions like that. The format was excellent.  You could even spread the joy and have "guest clinics" from other Cafe members expanding on forum threads.

Suggestion for next segment:  Our discussion of cliched fills.  I'd love to see someone doing Debbie Boone or Bette Midler...The fill, that is!

By the way, that magically appearing kit must make loading in and loading out a breeze!   :)
