First public post-injury performance
« on: December 22, 2008, 10:06 AM »
I had my first post-accident drum performance over the weekend.

I visited the band that I was supposed to audition for the weekend of my accident.  [August]  They had a gig on Saturday night.

The leader asked me to sit in for a few tunes, and, it went really well.
Tons of fun.  Too short, but tons of fun.  :)

After, the leader had some really nice things to say about my playing.
It was a fun boost of confidence for me.

Hoping for much more in 2009.

Thanks, guys.

Another small step happened last night - as I got a call for an audition
after the holidays.
