A Brand-New Music Video - Nuit Blanche
« on: February 28, 2009, 01:33 PM »
Hey folks;

Here's a brand-new music video for Amanda Mabro that not only has me performing in the musical track, but I am also in the video as well.

This video was created by Meinert Hansen (for his credits, go to IMDB) for our song, "Nuit Blanche".

Enjoy!

Tim,
I really enjoyed that. Thanks.  And tell us about that set you are playing in the video.  Looks like you're playing hats, real hats ;)

Meinert designed the instruments for the video; they were a pleasant surprise to us when we arrived for the live-action stuff.

I've jokingly referred to the kit as the "Rubbermaid 5000" as the drums are made of garbage cans and the cymbals are the lids!

Tim - very cool! I love the look you flash the bass player about a minute into the video. Kind of like "What the heck are we doing"!! ;)

I've been wanting to try out some of that RubberMaid equipment for a while.  It would be great to consolodate our kitchen and drum room.

On another note, I believe this is the reason most modern drummers play kits tuned low. When I was kid, we played on pots and pans with that high metalic tone.

 ;D

I actually tune fairly high for a "rock guy". Other drummers have complained when sitting at my kit that the drums go "bing" when they play them.  ;D
