Have you heard Danny?...I saw him for the first time this weekend at a Hot Jazz festival in Victoria, B.C. My first time at one of those events....far out!....average audience age about 80 ...nice to see  events where that generation can still hear (pun!) their favorites...lots of permutations of key players in different bands over the weekend....

I was playing there in a zydeco band, which apparently is a counterpart/danceability factor in some hot jazz festivals.

Anyone, I thought he was great!...nice guy, he's from Nashville, so I steered him toward Bart and the Cafe.
