last nite was my 40th highschool reunion. we had a very popular local blues band play. they asked me if i would sit in for a song. i have never played live before and hadn't jammed with anyone in 40 yrs. i  played hand me down my walkin' cane. although i played somewhat soft i was thrilled. the band's drummer has a jazz set and he use very light sticks.i didn't move or adjust any of his setup. he sets his hats almost level with his snare, so my hands were hitting each other at times. i adapted and stayed on course. it was a great experience and given another oppurtunity, i will do it again!!!!
