I know Mr. Acrolite has gigged with him for a bit. I saw them together in Santa Monica a few years ago.

Hopefully the Big Man will be back in the saddle soon.

HMm, not good news.
I hope for a better outcome.
One of my faves, German jazz composer and bassist Eberhard Weber, had a stroke a few years ago and hasn't been able to play since.  :-\
He was a smoker and now passionately asks people to give up, or not start in the first place.

Very sorry to hear about this.

They've been discussing this on the news here in Nashville. The reports that I've heard is that Clarence is stable and resting well. Not sure how he's really doing.

I hope he makes a full recovery.

latest update says he had 2 brain surgeries. he is stable and responsive.

Sadly, according to the BBC, Clarence has lost his battle.  :-\

I heard the same thing.

Clarence Clemmons passing at the age of 69.

latest i read was he died from complications . what they were i don't know.  always loved his sax playing on bruce's albums. gave that extra kick.
