Head south..... it's freezing here. Snow fell a couple of days ago.  :'(

Larry Rankine

Hey Chris, can you "overnight" some of that white stuff up here?   ;D  It's hot as #$%^ here in the Tar Heel State!

Chris Whitten

I confess I'm not a fan of winter.
At my age I've done enough winters, and I don't ski or snowboard.
Last summer (Jan, Feb 2011) we had many days over 100f. Obviously something around 80f is ideal, well it is for me. The main problem I have is keeping my grounds alive. Even the grass fries. Most of my plants are native because water is scarce and precious. We have a hot wind that blows through on the hottest days, and in the evening when you go out to inspect the aftermath, many of the plants and trees look like they've been in a pizza oven.

chris i thought you were joking. then learned you live down under.

Chris Whitten

Oooh no.

32f most nights at my place. Although it usually gets up to about 60 to 65f by midday.
A few months ago it was over 100f on many consecutive days.  :P

Arrid climates are certainly a contradiction......Hot as the dickens in the daytime and cold as the dickens at night!

MOUSE
