hey guys, the kids got good chops, just do any of you know what rudiments he practised and for how long, ?? he says he always plays on his pad?!!?!

Well ... I'm sure he practices ALL the rudiments!

You know, there's no magic formula here. There are so many variables at work: talent, practice, patience, practice, lessons, practice, time, practice, listening ...

If you are watching the clock and looking for a formula, you'll never be that good. I'm sure Ilan doesn't watch the clock ... but rather, practices every chance he gets; drumsticks always in his hands.

Only the truly "hungry" get to the level that he is at, at such an early age. There's a price to pay ... are you willing to pay the dues?

I have heard it takes three things to become an exceptional drummer, unfortunately its hard to describe what the three things are.  I would say that dedication to your craft and luck are two top ones.
