Having said that, there should be a little leway for everyone to express themselves even if it is a little imature, condescending or offensive to some.  IMHO, this thread was a borderline case.  

Well ... I think it was a borderline case as well ... but I would have stepped in a long time ago just to calm things down a bit and not let the personal attacks occur like they did. We all have our own opinions, but flaming and attacks don't need to happen on a public forum. That type of thing needs to happen privately, if at all.

Just for the record, no one has been banned or disciplined in all of this, and there really is no need for it. I'm just ready to get back to the topic of music and let it all go. We all have our baggage and personal issues we are working on ... at least I know I do.

Now, back to the topic at hand ........
