Looking To Rehead My Stage Customs
« on: June 19, 2004, 12:33 PM »
Well It's time to rehead my drum kit. I really need a new Resonant head for my kick drum becasue the port tore and after I removed my muffling the force of air on the kick drum I guess just blew a hole in it. Im open to any suggestions, looking to try anything new in Evans Or Aquarian.

14x5.5 Steel Snare - Crack and Ring, slightly focused
16x16 Floor Tom - Fat, Warm, Focused Resonance
22x16 Kick Drum - Fat, Focused, Warm, Punchy

Can yall reccamend me something that would be up my ally.
Thanks, Josh

I'm using Evans G2 coated (top) with Aquarian classic clear (resonant) on my floor toms they are really nice if you were to go the Evans route. I've yet to try Aquarian Response IIs but they are supposed to be the equivilent to G2's and will probably last longer, but cost a bit more. No idea what to recommend for your snare and kick. Good luck.
