Uriel Jones

Uriel Jones, born June 13, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, was an American musician, best known as one of the recording session drummers for Motown's in-house studio band, the Funk Brothers (as seen in the documentary, Standing In The Shadows of Motown), from the 1960s through the early 1970s.

Jones died from a heart attack on March 24, 2009; he was 74.
