Ian Paice, born Ian Anderson Paice on June 29, 1948 in Nottingham, England, is a British musician, best known as the drummer of the English rock band, Deep Purple (1968–1976, 1984–present). To date, Ian is the only original member remaining with the band. As continuous member of Deep Purple, Paice is the only member to appear on every album the band has released.
