The new Byzance Extra Dry Dual cymbals from Meinl started out as a few prototypes which were presented over the internet only. The amount of immensely positive feedback received encouraged us to finally release this new series.

Dual cymbals have a stunning contrast between the extra dry and brilliant finishes combined with a unique mix of hammering and lathing. They feature dual playing zones: a thick center for riding and a thinner edge for crashing. Their sound opens up easily which allows for dynamic options, ranging from light riding to trashy crash accents.
