Stickman Drum ExperienceBig sky country will get loud once again in 2013 as The Stickman Drum Experience Fantasy Drum Camp rolls into Cedar Lodge on Blackstrap Lake from June 27 – July 1, 2013.

Organizer Jayson Brinkworth ( Music In The House, Regina Drum Festival, Aaron Pritchett, One More Girl) and the Stickman team are very excited about the diverse and immensely talented line up they have for the 2013 event. "We are very fortunate to be in our position of contacts with the biggest names in the industry" says Brinkworth. "We are also very thankful for the support from the province, our volunteers, the music community and businesses that contribute as this event takes months of planning and preparation."

The 2013 line up has players coming to Saskatchewan from all over North America to educate, motivate and inspire players of all ages and skill levels. Jayson adds, "This camp is designed to be very motivating in a non competitive atmosphere where ALL of the players learn, jam and hang with each
other for the whole 4 day event."

Artists coming to Saskatchewan in 2013 include: Scott Pellegrom ( Clinician extraordinaire), Matt Halpern ( Periphery, BandHappy), Paul DeLong ( Kim Mitchell, David Clayton Thomas), Chris Coleman ( Prince, Chaka Khan), Tim Smith - Bass ( Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson), Billy Ward ( BB King, Bill Evans), Ronn Dunnett ( Dunnett Classic Drums). Also Saskatchewan’s own Chris Dimas and Jayson Brinkworth himself will be teaching classes during the event.

The Stickman Drum Experience is NOT just lessons. This is an all inclusive experience where the students and artists stay in the same facility, have meals together and get a real chance to communicate on a level that many dream of. When asked about the camp, they equate it to a singer
getting a chance to learn from and hangout with the likes of Aretha Franklin or Bono.

A few highlights of the event:

  • Incredible access to big name artists and experts.
  • Immersive drum experience with others who love drumming as much as you do.
  • Indoor and outdoor drumming activities for individual and group sessions throughout the day and evening.
  • Practice rooms open 14 hours a day, all weekend long.
  • Nightly "Fire Pit Drumhang"
  • Grand Finale “Drum Karaoke” night with a live band – invite friends and family to come watch you perform!
  • Tons of prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
  • All meals, double occupancy accommodations, lessons, classes and jams included in the all inclusive price of $999 CDN.
