"Good Times", written by George Young and Harry Vanda, is a song by The Easybeats. Originally released as a single in Australia back in December 1968, the song appeared on the group's Vigil album.

In 1987, INXS and Jimmy Barnes recorded a cover version of "Good Times" which appeared in the Joel Schumacher film, The Lost Boys. It reached #2 in Australia and charted in both the USA (peaking at #47) and the UK (peaking at #18 in 1991). A video clip was produced featuring INXS and Jimmy Barnes performing the song (see below), with scenes intercut from The Lost Boys. The INXS version was also used to promote the national Australia Made series of concerts that took place between Boxing Day (1986) and Australia Day (1987). I've also include a video from a LIVE performance of "Good Times" with INXS & Jimmy Barnes.

It is worth mentioning that I struggled a bit transcribing the drums on this tune, not only because of the way engineer Al Wright mixed the drums, but also some of the "fudged" drum fills (eg. measure 72) by Jon Farriss. Taking this into consideration, you should not overly pedantic with YOUR performanc of this tune; comparing it to the original recording and this transcription.
